Additional information

This step is applicable to projects located in two (2) or more districts, towns or provincial cities. In this step, investor has an option to appoint its representative(s) to participate in the Compensation Council.

The purpose of the council is to mediate, reach agreement on and finalize the compensation scheme for, and support the resettlement of existing land user(s) of the land plot with an aim for acquiring the land plot on behalf of the investor.

In fact, in most cases, investor usually has appointed 01-03 representatives to take part in the Compensation Council.

Within 05 working days after receiving personnel appointment letter from the investor, Land Clearance and Development Agency shall issue and send an original of decision on setting up compensation council and original list of compensation council's members to the company's address via post.
